Cluster
Cracoe and Rylstone VC C of E Primary School is one of seven schools in the Upper Wharfedale Primary Cluster. This is a very active organisation which creates a wealth of opportunities for children to work and play with others in their peer group, which is particularly important for our rural children. The Cluster also gives a forum for teachers to share ideas, group developments and staff training projects, to the enormous benefit of each individual school. The headteachers meet at least once every half term, each giving generously of their knowledge and expertise.
As part of the cluster, the school is an active member of the Craven School Sports Partnership, which provides a vast range of sporting experiences for the children, including access to the state-of-the art facilities at our local Sports College, Upper Wharfedale School, including a purpose-built sports hall and a swimming pool.
The Cluster is also a Primary Strategy Learning Network, at present focusing on Mathematics and Assessment, and a Primary Language Network for modern languages.

Every year all the Year Six children from the Cluster go on a special residential visit. For the past few years we have been to York.
We stay at the International Youth Hostel which is really good. Here are pictures of some of the exciting things we do:
